Permanent makeup and microblading are actually semi-permanent tattoo services. It will requires touch ups anually. It can last 1-3 years or longer. Every client is different and the results on one person can't be expected on another. Am I a good candidate for microblading?

What makes a good candidate for microblading depends on your expectations, your skin, and how you take care of it.

Oily skin is not going to hold the pigment well and may require two or more sessions to get disired result; it also requires more frequent touch-ups.

If you are in the sun a lot, this can drastically fade your eyebrows and it's highly encouraged to wear sunscreen at all times. The sun can even effect the color of the pigement over time.

A person who exercises often, and sweats a lot is also not going to have quality lasting results (the salt in the sweat can cause blurring of the lines and fading).

Microblading is great because it helps the need to fill in eyebrows in the morning and can boost confidence, but it is not a fix all for everyone. Maintenance is something you commit to when it comes to microblading.

Please read the pre/post care page for more details on what makes a good candidate.

What is Saline removal?

Saline removal is the saftest way to remove tattoos on the face. This includes semi-permanent cosmetic tattoos (microblading), and small permanent tattoos on the face. The only area Natural Beauty Designs DOES NOT remove tattoos is on the eyes (permanent eyeliner) AND tattoos beyond the face. Every other tattoo/semi-permanent tattoo on the face can be removed using Saline at Natural Beauty Designs. Saline removal uses your own body's natural healing process to pull pigment out of the skin. A small superficial wound is created, and saline is put in it. It is relatively painless. The wound will scab over and when the scab falls off the pigment comes out with it. Often times, multiple sessions are needed.

Why is Saline removal better than other methods?

Saline is the best way to remove cosmentic tattoos for a few reasons. First, and most importantly, it is the safest method of removal. Many skin types can have complications from other removal methods, but saline removal works with all skin types. Saline simply uses your own skin's natural healing process to pull pigment out of the skin. The pigments are brought out through the scabbing process of a controlled and superficial wound. This reduces the risk of scarring, discoloration, hyper/hypopigmentation, and burns from other methods, like laser tattoo removal (Please be aware that you may already have scar tissue present under your tattoos/microblading, that doesnt become apparent until they are removed). Saline tattoo removal is typically more afordable than other methods as well. Although the process of saline removal is not completely pain free, it is relatively painless in comparision to Laser tattoo removal, which can be extremely painful. (Please be aware that you may have scar tissue already present under you tattoos, that doesn't become appartent until they are removed).
